9th @ 7:30am -- VA Donuts at the clinic in Lecanto.
10th @ 10am -- Chapter 7 Meeting. VFW Post 10087 cleanup--following the meeting, volunteers will be needed to put plants in the ground (Trish Kallenbach/Jim Brundage), pressure wash around the flagpole (VP Perrino), replace ceramic tile (Craig Hibbard). John Tress volunteered to stop by every couple of to water the new plants until they are established. Stop by the Post at 7pm--Gene and George will be playing and everyone is invited to celebrate Jim Stepanek's birthday.
February
13th @ 7:30am -- VA Donuts at the clinic in Lecanto.
14th @ 10am -- Chapter 7 Meeting. Plan to attend our Februrary social ride to Gator Joe's on Lake Weir.
21st @ 9am -- Military Heroes Project. We are traveling to the Sarasota Military Academy for the event. The ride down to Sarasota leaves from VFW Post 10087 in Beverly Hills. Kick stands up at 9am. All bikes and 4-wheels are welcome.
March

14th @ 10am -- Chapter Meeting.
21st -- Ft McCoy Picnic. Details to tba.
28th -- American Legion Riders Post 155 Crystal River, 3rd Annual Mystery Poker Run Benefit for Hospice of County/Hospice of the Nature Coast. Starts at the American Legion Post #155, 6585 W Gulf to Lake Hwy, Crystal River, FL. Breakfast available. Ends at Willard's Restaurant & Lounge, 3490 E CR337, Morriston, FL. Sign-up starts at 10am. Last bike out at 12 moon. Last bike in at 4pm. Awards given out at 5pm. For more info call Mike (352-447-2915) or Jeff (352-897-4285).

7th - Plaque dedication in Miami, FL. Hospital renamed Bruce Carter CMH.

16th - Ride/drive to Haley VA Hospital, Tampa, FL. Chapter will visit with CW2 Romulo Comargo. Meet at the Central Florida Community College (CFCC) parking lot (located on CR491 in Lecanto). Kickstands up at 9:30 AM. We plan to arrive just before noon. Route: South on 491, crossing Highway 98, to its dead end. Left (east) on Old Spring Hill Road to the Brooksville bypass. Right (south) on the bypass to US 41 south (right) to Fletcher Ave. Left (east) to Livingston Ave, turn right (south) to the hospital. SF Al Mumford.

19th - 21st - American Gold Star Mothers National Convention, Miami, FL.
20th - MacDill AF Base, Tampa. Ceremonies to award the Purple Heart and Bronze Star to a serious Iraq burn victim.
27th -- Rolling Thunder FL7 Third Annual Independence Day Golf Tournament
July
4th @ 11:00am -- Haley House BBQ in Tampa. Meet at Central Florida Community College (CFCC) on 491 in Lecanto, with kickstands up/doors closed at 9:00 am.

29th -- Vietnam Veterans Gathering Poker Run. Fundraiser to bring The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall to Ocala, FL in October 2009.

12th - Escort ride for Romy Comargo from Haley VA to Crystal River Harley-Davidson. Following the Chapter Meeting, RTFL7 will then lead the escort to Black Diamond. Those with tickets will then stay for the luncheon.
18th -- National POW/MIA Day
18th @ 7:00pm -- Crystal River American Legion Post 155. RTFL7 will perform the POW/MIA Remembrance Table ceremony at 7:30pm. This is National POW/MIA Day!!! The members involved with the performance are asked to be at the hall by 7:00pm.
18th-19th -- Andersonville, GA. POW/MIA
20th @ 5:45pm -- Capt. Mark Evans Welcome Home. Cornerstone Baptist Church at 1100 W. Highland Blvd, Inverness. RTFL7 is on the agenda and will present Evans with one of our new chapter coins. Several members have expressed a desire to go out for dinner together after the welcome home. Looks like we'll be going down the street to Appleby's.
