Rolling Thunder is a group of concerned citizens working to make people aware of the Prisoners Of War-Missing In Action (POW-MIA) issue. We are also committed to helping American Veterans from all wars.
This Friday, September 18th is National POW/MIA Day. We will be working with several other groups around several counties to commemorate this weekend.
Friday evening at 7pm we will be at The American Legions Post 155 in Crystal River Florida located at 6585 W Gulf to Lake Hwy (Hwy 44) Crystal River.
They will be doing a skit on the history of the MIA/POW table ceremony.
Saturday at 11am we will be at the Ocala Veterans Memorial Park at 2601 E Fort King St, Ocala, FL 34470 to assist in the performance of a POW/ MIA Table ceremony.
Come and join us to show your support of our past and present men and women in harms way.
Our next meeting will be on October 10th at 10am at the Inverness VFW # 4337 located at 906 Hwy 44 E, Inverness FL 34450 All are welcome to attend.

Rolling Thunder Florida Chapter 7 presented a POW/MIA
chair to Citrus
County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) on Tuesday October 14,
2014. The chair will be permanently and prominently displayed so all
attending BOCC meetings will be reminded that there are still over

September 10, 2013, the Citrus County Board of County Commissioners
designated a portion of the road from U. S. Hwy 41 C.R. 486
intersection to Croft Road as "POW/MIA Memorial Highway" in honor of U.
S. military personnel listed as a Prisoner of War and or Missing in
Action.
